DNV movie: The Great Transition

DNV, an independent expert in assurance and risk management, developed a movie: www.thegreattransition.org, which aims to engage large proportions of society for the Energy Transition.
During this session we will show the movie and start a panel discussion with Johan Knijp and Barbara Schoon, representatives of DNV and a group of young students, lead by professor Wim Elving:
- Does the movie actually engage society?
- Is the video and the message attractive for young people
- Are young people engaged more to be part of the energy transition after watching this video?
What does the panel think that we need to engage young people? Older generations have had the benefits of growth and prosperity, whereas younger generations will be confronted with the necessity to successfully apply the transitions.
The panelists will be young students from various master programs of RUG and Hanze and representatives of the Young Res, a local initiative for the assistance with the Dutch Regional Energy Strategy.
