Programme maker, writer, moderator and speaker; like his personality, Harm Edens is strikingly versatile. Witty, sharp and quick-thinking, yet always substantive. Harm is naturally curious and never minces his words. His main drive: to create genuine connections with his audience.
To the wider public, Harm is best known as the cheerful anchorman of the satirical show Dit Was Het Nieuws. For Omroep Gelderland, he produces various programmes such as Buitengewoon and Het Vierdaagse Journaal, and he presents BNR Duurzaam on the radio. Harm spends the majority of his time working on making the world greener. His work as an ambassador for WWF (since 1999) and the Jane Goodall Legacy Foundation (since 2023) are prime examples of this.
Since the autumn of 2025, Harm has been touring the country with his theatre lecture “The State of the World According to Harm Edens.”
