Floor Milikowski is a journalist and social geographer and has been working as a journalist for over 20 years. She is the author of the bestsellers Van wie is de stad (2018), Een klein land met verre uithoeken (2020) and Wij zijn de stad (2021). After completing her secondary education at the Barlaeus Gymnasium in Amsterdam, she studied spatial planning and social geography at the University of Amsterdam and at San Francisco State University.

Floor writes extensively for De Groene Amsterdammer and regularly publishes in other media, including NRC, FD, and de Volkskrant. She also gives lectures and is frequently heard and seen on radio and television.
